Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, the daughter of a musician from Mexico, was born to a music-loving family. Her early years were shaped by Boleros, classical music and the traditional romantic, ranchero, and romance ballads. Ana loves Tangos. Also, she loves operas, and every form of theatrical performance. She started singing and studying music with her mother, then began more intense vocal training at the age of 16 under the renown Mexican Tenor Flavio Becerra. She furthered her training in music at the School of Music of Guadalajara University, then at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. While a young student and professional, she performed with various chamber groups as well as opera choirs in Guadalajara as well as Mexico City. After relocating in California in United States in 2000, she sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before shifting to her place in southern California. She's a regular solo performer at events, private parties and other occasions, performing traditional Latin American Music. Her love and passion for art, music, and performing has her involved in many local projects as a teacher and performer. Ana is also an ex-member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana enjoys singing the traditional Latin American songs and hopes that she can inspire others to sing the same.
